Add a preview pane while building the chart before creating, it will help a lot on customizing before pressing create chart.

The purpose of my suggestion is to see how it looks like before creating the charts. But your suggestion is also ok as long as the json file of the same chart is just updated instead of adding more json files because of many trial and errors.

That's a great idea, but I'm concerned about potential technical limitations within my tech stack and Excel, which might prevent me from implementing it. However, as a workaround, we could add another button for creating charts. In addition to "Settings" and "Create Chart," we could introduce an option to load settings from a previously created chart to avoid redoing the settings. This might not be exactly the feature you were looking for, but it could be helpful. What do you think?
